Foodservice Territory Sales Manager Required Location – Plymouth & West Dorset / East Devon Realistic £40k+ OTE, excellent basic salary, company car, laptop and phone

The Reason

Due to planned retirements, we are looking to strengthen our field sales team in a number of key areas Plymouth / West Dorset / East Devon.

The Role

As the successful candidate you will have the responsibility of managing and developing a portfolio of existing customers, as well as targeting new business within the above territories. Your customer base will be wide and very varied from schools to hotels to care homes, with decision makers ranging from chefs to owners and managers. The role is a great mix of sales and service, account management and new business development.

The Individual

You are likely to be a proven sales individual that can demonstrate an enviable sales track record or an experienced caterer from the area. You are self motivated, determined and able to communicate effectively and are highly organised.

Telesales Executive Realistic £20k+ OTE, excellent basic salary and commission scheme

The Individual

Are you an outgoing, motivated person who finds it easy talking to and building successful relationships with a wide selection of people? Do you have a positive outlook and are passionate about providing excellent customer service? Are you organised and able to work under pressure?  If the answer to these questions is yes and you want to be part of a lively and successful team then this opportunity is for you.  Experience of telesales, as well as Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred but not essential as full training will be required.  Most importantly we want the right person to join our team who in abundance has the can do, will do approach to help support our customers.

The Role

As the successful candidate your primary duty will be to capture our customer’s weekly food orders on the telephone from an established ledger of trading accounts.  As part of this order capture process you will be required to promote in special offers and enter all information onto our computer system.  As part of the team, as well as making outbound calls to your own sales ledger you will be required to receive incoming calls from other customers.  This will be to take their orders and/or resolve any queries or questions they may have. In all customer contact, great customer service must be delivered at all times.

The Salary & Hours

General Warehouse Operative (Nights)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The role of Warehouse Operative for the MJB team would suit someone who is a positive team player and has a desire to provide an efficient and accurate service to our customers. We operate from a frozen and an ambient depot so a flexible approach is needed as you may be required to work at both sites. A requirement of the role is that you will:

  • Pick customer orders for next day delivery as per company processes, undertake all necessary controls and ensuring temperature disciplines are complied with where applicable. You may be required to lift products up to 25kg.

  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner and at all times ensure that you adhere to road conditions, speed limits and road signage

  • Ensure that all stock is stored, handled and loaded securely in line with company procedures, food hygiene legislation and health and safety guidelines.

  • Work with team colleagues to ensure that the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and complies with company standards at all times.

  • Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, ensuring all company safety and quality systems are adhered to, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager.

  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business.

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to apply safe working practices

  • Conscientious, reliable with good attendance and timekeeping

  • Honest, trustworthy, able to work unsupervised

  • Flexible and keen to learn and acquire new skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Manual handling experience

35 hours per week

HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver Annual Salary: £29,500

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The driver for the MJB team would suit someone who possesses a strong customer focus and a desire to provide a professional delivery service. A requirement of the role is that you would:

  • Complete daily walk round checks prior to departure to ensure that your vehicle is legally compliant

  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner and at all times ensure that you adhere to road conditions, speed limits and road signage

  • Deliver to multiple catering establishments across South West England

  • Liaise with the transport team in relation to customer, vehicle or traffic issues

  • Ensure that your vehicle is washed and fuelled upon your return to the depot

  • Accurately complete any delivery documentation

  • Arranging stock uplifts with supplier where necessary.

Essential Requirements

  • Hold a valid driving licence (Category C)

  • Hold a Driver CPC qualification and Digital tachograph card

  • Have fewer than 6 penalty points on your licence

  • Possess excellent customer service skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Good Geographical knowledge of the South West

  • Experience of temperature controlled multi drop deliveries

Hours

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, start time between 04:00 and 06:00 dependant on allocated route.
